Imagine growing your HVAC business $10 million in one year, and the challenges that kind of growth would create. Now imagine growing an additional $10 million the very next year. Growing from $0 to over $30 million in annual sales between 2005 and 2018, the three owners of George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating in Phoenix, AZ, now have over 55,000 maintenance agreements, and a profitable, 100% residential HVAC service, maintenance, and replacement business.  With 100% Customer Satisfaction, they have maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (while in over 60,000+ homes in 2016, 2017 & 2018).

In 2013, Dave Probst, Jim Probst & Cory Holman, the three owners of George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating, based in Phoenix, AZ founded SBE – Service Business Evolution, a training program that offers other HVAC contractors the tools and coaching to help them to grow profitable, successful businesses using the same training resources and business strategies as George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating.

Dave is a lifelong contractor, holding both residential and commercial licenses in HVAC and Plumbing. From the age of 19 he worked his way up from technician to owning his first HVAC business. He founded SBE in 2013 as a sales training and coaching business to share what he and his partners have learned from growing George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating. 

Jim, the current President of George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating and SBE, has held several senior management positions—including CEO, President and CFO—in early stage, high growth, private and public entities. He has extensive experience operating and executing high growth business strategies. 

Cory began his career as a service technician.  Over the past 25 years, he has owned his own companies from roofing to sales consulting and he has run operations for prominent HVAC companies. Cory has successfully trained technicians and comfort consultants at George Brazil since 2006 to be $1,000,000 plus annual producers.  Cory believes measuring, setting goals and one-on-one coaching is the vehicle to greater success.

Dave and his partners have gone through every kind of industry training available and noticed that the training has not changed.  Many of the training companies and consultants out there are offering the same training they did 10, 20 or 30 years ago – some of them just putting a new title or label on it.  That is how they came up with the name, Service Business Evolution.  SBE’s training is consistently evolving with the residential AOR customers’ needs, as well as contractors’ needs.

In just 5 years, SBE has become one of the top industry-leading training programs in the United States.
